The premise
What if the world beneath the world is executable?
A brilliant software programmer finds something no one was supposed to find: reality runs on code. With his wife beside him, he learns to read it, then to rewrite it, and the two of them step through time itself.
They are not the only ones who noticed. Powerful corporations want what the couple discovered, and they send hunters who can follow the traces every jump leaves behind. Across centuries, the chase is on.

Marcus Anthonsen began developing String of Time in 2007. The two leads are inspired by Marcus and his wife, Veronica: their looks, their opposite temperaments, and an unusually strong marriage.
Season One is in early preproduction: story architecture, characters, mythology, and production planning. Production partners will be announced.
String of Time is an original science-fiction series developed through human creativity and AI-assisted filmmaking. Its characters and environments are digitally produced, while its story, mythology, and creative direction originate with its human creator.
